Excellent capture, Rey! The head turn is just perfect! We have a feral population of this species here in Southern California and I've been lucky to get a few shots at them. 30D, 100-400 @ 400mm, ISO-400 1/800. f10

Wow! Birds from Spain. Thanks, Raul, for sharing these wonderful photographs. As Lyds said, it would be nice to know your camera settings for each photograph. The IDs are as follows: 1. European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) 2. Great Tit (Parus major) 3. Sardinian Warbler (Sylvia melanocephala) 4. Eurasian Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) 5. Eurasian Magpie (Pica pica) (not Black-billed which are only found in North america)

Thanks for the explanation, Neon. I just thought you guys were following Kennedy's. My Sibley-Monroe list indeed calls Calidris ruficollis as Red-necked Stint.
