Hi guys!
Just want to share my bird photos of South American birds that i had the opportunity to shoot while we were at different locations filming "Pinoy Fear Factor" in Argentina, SA, from August to September 2008 (Abs-Cbn Philippines)
Shot 30+ species of wild birds in and around Buenas Aires City, its suburbs, provincial grazing lands, man made lakes, natural lakes, woody forest lands, tree-covered military bases, open grass lands, Riverside parks, etc. It was such an amazing and fulfilling experience to be a able to photograph wild birds in Argentina. They were everywhere! and the Argentenians love their birds. They know a lot about them, and even know most of their local, common names. Shot about half of my harvest just within city limits.
Carpintero Comun, D300, 170-500@500, f6.3, 1/200, ISO320, Sb800, Better Beamer, 190xprob, 486 ballhead, manual (lake area)
Cotorra, D40, Nikkor 70-300vr, 1/400, f9,ISO400, SB800, Better Beamer, handheld
Cotorra home, D300, 170-500mm @ 500, f10, 1/200 , 1SO 800, SB800, Better Beamer, 190XProb, 486 ballhead, manual

I am currently working on a multiply site just for this collection. This is a work in progress site fellows.. Got a couple of field guide bird books in Buenas Aires as reference for my shots.
I'll be updating this thread with more pics and their English and scientific names..
its cool to be a bird in Argentina... people don't hurt you..
Tnx for viewing! Cheers!
