These are the only photos that are "kinda" worth posting. The birds are far but San Juan has a wonderful variety. All photos are excessively cropped for lack of a decent lens like Romy's 500mm or Neon's 600mm. Wow!! liked the CKF, looks like it's a family and the fledgling is asking for food. That striated heron was miles away and you were able get a good photo of it. Here's some BIF shots of the mix flock of waders, mostly Kentish Plover Charadrius alexandrinus

Thank you Master IDOL Romy and Neon. Using Live View is a great big help in taking pictures of birds that are quite far so we can focus it spot on in order to be able crop it to death later on Love the flight shots Neon !!!

Thank you so much Raul & Bob Those 3 collared kingfishers kept on showing themselves. I also think that one of them is the mama bird while the other 2 are the kids.

Very nice capture of those kingfishers Plain Mastah. I can only imagine what a 500 or 600 mm lens can do with you behind the lens :-)

Thanks Bobby Ohhhh how I really wish I had a 500mm or 600mm lens ... Unfortunately, it will forever be a dream coz I don't even have the funds to buy lenses like those

I also like the KF Trio. I've been to San Juan a lot of times but haven't gone birding there yet. We used to have some fishpond and saltbeds in Cavite that looked a lot like this area San Juan. Now I feel bad that we don't have it anymore.
