I saw these bunch of birds inside the Universidad Para LaPaz with long hanging nests. They can be seen easily because of their sizes and they are quite noisy. The image quality may not be the one I desire but its good enough for recording purposes. 400mm, f/5.6, 1/100s, ISO400 055MF4+GH 400mm, f/5.6, 1/400s, ISO400 055MF4+GH

Very nice details. Good thing you can use flash for low light areas there. Here in Cost Rica, flashes are prohibited to use most especially inside the national parks.

Wow another set of beautiful Trogons. Your lens was made for you to take this marvelous pictures. At the risk of being demanding, keep on birding in this paradise of Costa Rica while you are still there. In the future when you look back you will remember that there was a certain fellow who kept on asking you to take pictures and you will say I am glad that I did. I am looking forward to see more of your beautiful captures of these wonderful & beautiful birds. The female may not be as colorful but its still a good looking bird. Well done Ariel. Mabuhay. Thank you very much, Ely, for the very encouraging words. And since I got the new glass, it really made a big difference on the quality of pictures I am taking from this wonderful place. By the way, the best thing about this latest birding trip I made is that the University is just 30mins away from where I live. I was back at home before lunch time .

It looks like "Edu's Swamp" in Valenzuela is becoming popular among the members. Beautiful sets here and congratulations for the photo of the week. Truly deserving! Valenzuela sounds good as I live in nearby Malabon. I hope to visit the place when I come back next time for vacation. Regards.

Thanks Glenn and Evanjhon. Here in Costa Rica, the Quetzals can be seen in at least two places that I know, San Gerardo and Monteverde. They are indeed very beautiful!
