This was taken from the 2nd part of my almost a month long sortie... whew! All i can say is that I'm burned out. Time to rest from birding for a couple of days. This was taken at Mambucal resort, a 40 minutes drive from downtown Bacolod. Enjoy! Nikon D3 + Nikkor 500mm f4 VR + TC14eII; f5.6, 1/100, ISO 1600, 700mm. manfrotto 3421 + Feisol CT 3471

I am guessing this is a Blue-headed Fantail, albiventris race since you were in Negros.
I was unable to get a good photo of the Blue-headed Fantail during this last trip to Banaue and Polis. It was too active and or too far. This photo is shows a great look at the bird, good details, nice exposure despite the difficult lighting conditions.

Haaaay when oh when do we get all the time we need to go birding everywhere we want to go and not worry about jobs being in the way.
