It's been sometime that I have been wanting to go to Villa Escudero and been wonderin what it is like to experience what others had told in this forum. And yesterday, I, together with Dens and Bert, decided to get a taste of what it is like in the Villa. And GREAT is a word not enough to describe what I had yesterday. I had the best birding sortie ever. The experience was so unique that now I want for more. This is all made possible by the gracious and lovely host, the person they call Suprema, who had spent her time all day accompanying us and introducing every nooks and crannies of Villa Escudero where the gems could possibly be around and see to it that we were treated like VIPs. Unbelievable hospitality. Best ever! I guess for those who have not gone to the place of Perubukid, they have missed half of their lives. So here, I am sharing what I got from Suprema's paradise. I hope the quality of my images does justice compared to how we were treated in Villa Escudero. The captures are quite a challenge in VE especially for short and slow lenses like what I have. I guess this was one of the hardest sorties I have had considering the limitations in my gear. But hey, I am happy just with the experience alone. Again, many many thanks to Mela.
