Last Sunday, I had the chance of reconnecting with my old Nikon D90 which I sold to Edu but this time with the 80-400mm Nikkor instead of the Sigma 150-500mm and I can say for a few frames, I had a great time with Nikon. Here is what I wanted to try and achieved. Philippine Duck Shot @ f5.6, 1/1250", ISO200, 50% wasted, Handheld Philippine Duck Nikon D90, Nikkor 80-400mm Shot @ f5.6, 1/1600", ISO200, 50% wasted, Handheld Thanks to Edu for allowing me to borrow his rig for a few shutters

Its always nice to have your subject elicit a smile. The ducks have a natural smile on their face because of the shape of their beak. Your pictures with the smiling ducks is a pleasant way of greeting when you look at it. Those are great photos. Well done Toto. Mabuhay.

Locked and Loaded. Great series showing the up swing and the downswing of the two ducks alternately.
I wonder if there is efficiency in them flapping alternately when they are drafting behind another flier. Or is it just coincidence?
Cheers Toto!!!
