See, persistence really pays off, Ted. ;D You got a really good shot of the Black Phoebe finally. I especially like the third photo in the second group. Congrats on your photo-lifer! Your avatar is a fantastic capture of a Black Phoebe, too.
Tina, yes, that is a Black Phoebe.

Outstanding detail and background, Jonathan. I would probably crop a little bit more on the left...but that's me.

These are not so bad at all, Ted.
I had a similar experience also, and even with the Canon's IS turned on, the images still came out blurred. We'll just have to learn from experience. ;D

Excellent harvest, William! All worthy to be printed and framed. The Black Cockatoo which looks like it is wearing an evening gown is really impressive.

Looks like a hybrid between a Mallard and one of those fancy domestic ducks.

Four birdnuts born on the same day! Does that tell you something or what? ;D
Thanks a million, fellow birdnuts!
Lyds, I was wondering what my portrait was doing in your e-card. hehehe.

Looks like the dove is at quite a distance yet the photo is crisp and the exposure is perfect. Well done!
