As idol Romy points out, one should see the fine fibers of the feathers. Beautiful shots. Congratulations!

Wow nice series Ally, you got a well groomed CKF there. Nice bokeh you handled the noise quite well considering the high ISO. Got a S'pore CKF myself when I was there for two hours last Saturday. Is there for any chance you are one of these guys? ;D

Thanks willz75 and Master Romy. Neon Rosell II - This is at Japanese garden. I also have a shot in this bushes but on the other side. This CKF is very tame and you can even get very near. I'm not one of them. I usually shoot on weekdays as there a lots of birder on weekend. Ally

Thanks Ally, that's a pretty neat series of the CKF. In my neck of the woods, I've seen only one species of KF. Very skittish. Someday, I can get near one of them.

Wonderful set Ally! I've yet to capture the CKF and yours is truly inspirational. Maybe I should move to Singapore....

Hi Ted - I saw 5-7 CKF in Japanese Garden Singapore and this is the only one that you can go nearer as its very name. You don't need to camo or crawl slowly to this bird. It only pearch also in the same location. Hi Martin - Come here to SG. Lots of bird here Thanks for viewing and kind comments.

Wonderful! Really wonderful. I have seen the YVB and the OBS do similar movements in my garden -- but your captures are great with the elegant happy colors. Bravo for a job well done. lyd
