If I may, I will visit you in Subic one day to see this sight. I have never seen this bird perched. So cool.

Great set as usual Tateo. That Egret with the fish so sharp is really nice.

Great shots Romy. It is not easy to expose the underside of a swift!
Do you have shots of the back? This looks quite different from the House Swifts I saw in Banaue.

That is quite close Tina. Great details, I can't say I've seen one any nearer than this shot.

Thanks Mike and Tateo. Took me three tries to get a shot I liked. Incredible find by Robert Hutchinson, Martin Kennewell, and Irene Dy. Spent a few days with Martin in Negros, he has seen 7300+ birds and his favorite birds are ducks.

Sounds like an easy place to get a white wagtail Prop. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Tateo, I think because it is full frame the noise is controlled even at that ISO. If I had to make a big crop the noise might be seen more.

Thanks Romy, I had to wait for the Egret to bend to fit it in the frame. The 1.6 crop took some getting used to after all my years with the 5dmk2 and 5dmk3.

Thanks Romy, too bad this duck will probably leave soon. The water is being drained. It won't be too long before it leaves, if it has not already.

Shooting owls at night is always a bit of a challenge. But they are so cool. We usually try to give the extra effort to find them.
I stopped using my flash with better beemer a long time ago, I don't like how it looks. And the flash rig is a hassle inside a tight trail at night. Too many things to snag on.
We used two kinds of torches in combination for these shots.
