hi Ramon! i was at the eagle center at around 9 in the morning but i only went to the area where the purple throated sunbirds are at around 10:30 or 11am. they were also there when i returned at around 2pm.

thanks ely! add to that, the skittish nature of this little fellow and its knack for staying inside the shrubbery for cover.
doc william, i was actually surprised by this one. it was feeding mixed with the OBS. i found them in the area where the rows of sea eagle cages are.

the reddish blob on the leaf is either a regurgitated fruit or poop (?).

thanks ely and edwin! there were less of them when we went last sunday. the terrain has changed a lot according to prof. tirso. only a small portion of the fields are newly plowed, so i guess the pratincoles moved some other place were there are more newly plowed farms.
