Finally went for a birding sortie LMEP to shoot the most wanted bird at this moment. Ashy Ground-Thrush ( Zoothera cinerea) 5DM2 + 600mm f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC (1200mm), f4 (f8), 1/4sec., ISO 1000, Tv priority, Live-vew/MLU, remote shutter, Tripod-Gimbal support, under available light.

@gabs maybe you are referring to the "egg tooth" it's the protuberance at the end of its upper bill that it used for breaking out of the egg. Really amazing how fast this birds develop, usually birds this size the "egg tooth" has worn off already.
