Hello birdnuts, Sharing yet another recently-processed photo from the archives. Haven't touched the camera for quite some time now so I figured i need to do some post-processing from time to time before I totally forget about it. ;D I can't believe it's been more than 2 years since I got this. All comments welcome. Ferruginous Flycatcher ( Muscicapa ferruginea, immature), migrant, rare in the Philippines UP Diliman, Quezon City, 20 Nov 2010 40D, 400mm, ISO 800, f/5.6, 1/4 sec, manual, tripod, live view, cable release

Beautiful, Adri. Wouldn't have guessed it is a digiscoped image had you not indicated in the caption.

Nice renditions, Martin!
How did you shoot the second image? Did you ask the monk to stay still while you took bracketed shots?

Thank you Mark. Every day I would just try to take as many pictures as I can and at the end of the day, I would go over them and delete all the bad ones. The difficult ones I would leave them on the file and mark the good ones. Its only now that I realized I have accumulated a good number of them and I can't process them all at the same time. At least on times that I don't have a chance to go birding I can always go back to them and as I process them it brings back good memories of the time that I photograph them. Hehehe, I'm sure that's a pretty nice "problem" to have.

Wonderful photos to complement the equally wonderful storytelling. The Mountain Verditer-Flycatcher is my favorite among this set. Well done sir and mabuhay.
