Birding for me has been scarce lately due to other activities. Just so I don't forget how to post-process, here's one taken last Oct. 7. Was at a resort in Laiya, Batangas with friends shooting with my 400mm when I saw this bird land at a manageable distance. Got down low to get a good angle and managed to get a few shots before it flew away. The mid-afternoon light wasn't the best but didn't seem too harsh either. All comments welcome. Zebra Dove ( Geopelia striata) Laiya, Batangas, 7 Oct 2012 40D, 400 f/5.6 L, ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/400 sec, manual exposure, handheld

This is the type of picture that Romy likes especially if you have to get down on your belly. Well done Mark & Mabuhay.
