Welcome, Jun. Yes, Puerto Princessa is a great place to visit for birding. Generally, anywhere in Palawan is good - try Coron, too!
God bless you!

Another great presentation Ka Mastah! The video is very well done. Thanks for sharing this. :-) How long does it take to process the video files? Full HD is already very acceptable, but most video enthusiasts are talking 4K now. I think it's too much for Youtube. :-)

Excellent captures Ka Mastah. The golden light brings out the details of his bird and it looks like the little fellow is also enjoying the photo ops! :-)

Wow indeed Ka Mastah! That shot shows what a great photographer can do with just about any camera. The highlights are so well controlled too, specially when using RAW. Details and shadows are also excellent!
I am really looking forward to the P1000, and if it works well enough, I may end up chucking my DSLR gear. :-)

Not yet. The P900 is available on sale, but without RAW, it ain't for me. :-) Yup, Ka Bobby.... RAW capture is a must have. I reckon it should be available before Christmas. The new 600 f/4 III is very nice at just over 3 kg, but the cost is way beyond my budget. I am no longer even looking at large glass. Horribly expensive. I'm very happy with my Nikkor 200-500 and D500 combo, and even that is gathering dust - no birds to shoot! I think my birding days are over, unless it's just a side trip or something ... :-)

Thanks, Ka Bobby! Any info at your end regarding the availability of the Coolpix P1000 locally? Not yet. The P900 is available on sale, but without RAW, it ain't for me. :-)

Oh, Wow! That shot is, I think, the best capture of that species I have seen for the longest time! Everything is perfect - lighting, focus, comp. Excellent work Ka Tina! You really should go out more- or try Macro! :-)

WHOAAAAA Bobby !!!! This are truly awesome. I have always wanted to try macro. So envious of these shots Thank you Ka Tina! I hope you too will join us in this aspect of photography. It can be done right in your back yard, and the equipment can be very light, too. No need to go to far flung places for your subjects. :-)

Here are some of my latest attempts: All were shot with either a Nikon D500 or D7200 using the Tokina 100 f/2.8 Macro ( a really good lens) coupled with a Kenko 1.4X TC using only daylight. All in Manual mode at variuos f-stops and shutter speeds and hand-held. All cropped for aesthetic effects and processed in Paintshop Pro 2018. Will post the results with that unit soon. Best regards,

Excellent shot Ka Mastah!I've also been into Macro lately and I'll post some of my captures in another thread. Just because our legs are shaky, our joints can no longer endure long treks, and our arms aren't as strong as they were to carry all the long teles in search for birds, doesn't mean we give up our passion :-)

Excellent shots with that cam Ka Mastah! As we get older, those super zooms become more and more attractive. Hehehe. Those shots are indeed beauties, but still, your mastery of the DSLR with those superb lenses just cannot be beat. :-)

Thanks, Godo and Ka Bobby! I'm eagerly awaiting the availability of the Nikon P1000 - with its 3000 mm/4K capability, filming distant birds will be doable in a light package. I'm waiting in line with you on that too Ka Mastah! It shoots RAW, unlike the P900, and is well priced too! :-) Maybe I'll wait for your review, hehehe.

That Sony RX10 Mk4 is really showing its prowess in your masterful hands Ka Mastah. I bet it's not easy to extract such sharp shots from a video clip, too! Best of both worlds! :-)
