Whoa! Excellent capture and details to the max! As for the noise, I think a very clean photo is jut not natural. I you look for it. it's there alright, but it's perfectly acceptable to me. If it does bother you, why not use a little noise reduction? Such a detailed photo can surely stand a fair amount of de-noising. :-)

2nd Photo is definitely a Terek, see this: the 1st photo is not so well defined. Here's confirmed Kentish Plover - do you have one that shows the bill better?

Sorry, can't say for sure 'coz the bill is still too pale for a Chinese Egret stamp on this one. It's a really nice capture though! :-)

Well, the manual came in CD form, so I've just finished reviewing it and it seems this particular model does not come with a Mac Driver, nor is there any mention of its compatibility with Macs. It comes with Windows 7, Vista, XP and ME/2000 Drivers, and that's it. :-)

Ahihih, I'm not as much a perfectionist as Ka Mastah, but that photo looks extremely well on my, ahem, IPS Monitor! Hehehe. The highlights are blown out a bit though, but I can't say anything bad about the blacks. The tonal gradation on my new monitor seems to favor the blacks, actually. :-)
