Ka Romy, there were actually 4 females. If I remember right Tina's girl, Cristy was the one who spotted the first nest. Please correct me if I am wrong, Tina. Cristy was even in our group picture the first day. It was Ixi's birthday!

Thank you Steve! What welcome news!!! I was very sad that my blog on this happy event at multiply was deleted but this saves all.
Ka Mastah Romy, our hats off to you, too. This PBPF site started it all.
Congratulations everyone! Yes, Neon... time to celebrate!

Those are super superb shots, Ely. I can see that BK Valley is always beckoning you to go back. Dion and Ramon are both doing a great job. I hope that the DENR people in the area recognize the efforts these two gentlemen have put in order to protect the area and to give sustainble livelihood to the members of the community. BK has become my second home. Like you, I always want to go back, even just to watch the clouds. Thanks for putting me in awe of the Creator by just looking at your photos. :)lyd

Well, that's a lot not to be taken in as member. I have to check my posts, they disappeared from flckr. I wonder why Calling Ka Romy. You have to confirm NiKo's membership to the PNT Club!

Hi Tonji, Here's a little push. You should document the Philippine parrots. Lala, soon to be Dr. Carmela Espanola, is finishing her doctoral paper on Philippine parrots in Manchester University, London. Your photos and her research paper will make a good book. telyds

Ka Rene, I am a Lumix fan. I have my 4th Lumix p/s. 1 lost, the other got sold, the 3rd and 4th I still have. I am more impressed with the video-cam, esp. for concerts. They camera shoots sharp on a clear day. Night shots are always with flash otherwise it's too grainy. Lately, I have noticed that a couple of nature photographers, active in bird photography, use the Canon Power Shot SX 40HS and the captures are amazing. The camera is light. It's an all around camera with good video cam. I think the price now is about P15k. Check it out, kapatid. telyds

Yeah, Ramon, adding a rare one is always a delight. And with the bird shots getting better and better surely make the heart happy. It is always a good feeling going home even with just one treasure shot, exciting when more. I look forward to La Natura on my first butterfly watching in Coron. I hope the rate is not expensive. Thanks for sharing. Lyd
