Lovely sets with tons of details! Several weeks ago I had an opportunity to observe a pair of this Clay-colored Robin made a nest and laid eggs inside our garden. Unfortunately, I noticed few days ago that the nest had been abandoned and that the eggs did not develop fully.

Congratulations Neon! By lookng at the photo, lens+2X TCs, make me scare! It means that this photo was taken from a considerable distance that my humble 400mm can't even reach

Thanks Bob! As I noticed, the colors appear only at a certain angle. This bird is really a forest gem.

During my recent trip to Unibersidad La Paz with Ely Teehankee., we saw this Fiery-billed Aracari feeding on a fruiting tree just beside the entrance. I noticed that after plucking the fruit from the tree, the bird tosses it in the air and catches it with its beak, instead of swallowing it directly. I positioned myself and waited patiently for that moment. I took some series of shots during the two-minute period until the bird stopped and flew away. I’m glad I came out with this picture. EOS 7D+400mm f/5.6L lens, 1/640s, f/8.0 ISO 400, Manfrotto+Gimbal Head

Endemic to Nicaragua and Costa Rica, this beauty feeds at all levels of wet mountane forests and gardens. Thanks to Bob Kaufman for identifying this bird correctly. Both pictures taken using 7D+400mm f/5.6L, 1/200s, ISO 400
