Thank you everyone. It is a very rare opportunity that came, and was just lucky enough to take advantage of being less than 5 meters from the subject

oh darn, there were no more registering "blinkies" during PP. Is there a setting for that? Mine might be set too high and is letting some hot areas through. Anyways, thank you all so much for the efforts to scrutinize and post comments. Very deeply appreciated. mark, hehehehe.... secret.

Hi guys, CDSC asked me to do a review of the D7000 and the 600f4. The 600 f4 is a no brainer, it should be a great lens. So I just did test shots with the D7000. I tried to focus on ISO capabilities and pixel density for IQ. Will be reviewing BIF capabilities soon. I guess I should just let the photos do the talking. This is a stuffed Drongo, I was pleasantly surprised with the ISO handling. Nikon D7000 Nikon 600mm f4 @ f4 1/25 ISO 6400 Blue Rock Thrush. At close distance, of course it will be an acceptable image Nikon D7000 Nikon 600mm f4 @ f5.6 1/500 ISO 250 Subject Distance 11.9m A relatively long distance shot of a White Collared Kingfisher Nikon D7000 Nikon 600mm f4 @ f5.6 1/500 ISO 560 Subject Distance 21.1m 21.1 meters is a comfortable distance for a 600. With a little luck I was able to find a smaller target An ETS Nikon D7000 Nikon 600mm f4 @ f4 1/500 ISO 100 Subject Distance 18.8m at a farther distance, details were expected to be less Striated Grassbird Nikon D7000 Nikon 600mm f4 @ f4 1/500 ISO 280 Subject Distance 39.8m As it is, I think the D7000 offers good quality for its price. For bird photography in particular, weather sealing, battery life and high ISO noise handling are pluses. Will be testing the AF capabilities on BIFs soon. Will keep you posted! Thank you for taking the time to view and read. Edu

Had the chance to go to CDO for work.. its a good thing I brought my gear with me. Met up with Renoir and we went birding!!!! Got me these lifers: Pond Heron and Little Tern It is such a pleasure to watch behavior.. the Sandpiper on the foreground was posing like this, I think as a sign of territorial display when the other came near then they started to chat about something even looked like they were whispering to each other I also saw and photographed a Marsh Sandpiper And this egret took my attention, because of its broken leg Now.. am experimenting.. how does a Kentish look like in B/W? thanks for looking! Thank you Renoir for the trip!
