Or better yet, "... on the floor?" This is one of the frames I got while shooting the Barred Buttonquail ( Turnix suscitator fasciata) in UPLB April last year. As the bird was foraging, it chanced upon its reflection on the ground and got a little curious, quite possibly uttering the famous line in Snow White. ;D 40D, 400 f/5.6 L, ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/800 sec, manual exposure, 88-peso foldable chair support, layers, vertical flip, masks

Wow superb details Mark. Turning it upside down you wont see the difference which is the reflection.

Awesome Mark, can't tell the difference between the true image from the reflected image. Love this one.

I missed this one Mark. How come you posted it here? Was it not a normal picture? Well, I guess he is the fairest of them all. Well done Mark & Mabuhay.

Thank you, Ely and Burr. This is one of those images where I got a little "creative" and did a no-holds-barred post-processing on the image. ;D The "reflection" is a product of such process, using a vertical flip and some masking (as indicated in the shooting info in the first post). On the contrary, the images I post in the Wild Birds of the Philippines board follow the natural history approach of presentation, where minimal post-processing is done.
