Great pannning shot Mando! your 200mm can really hold it's own against its bigger siblings. Very good panning technique. And you got the Java Sparrow! Congrats

Ahhh, you also got the elusive Java! And a much better one than mine.
Was that really at 200mm or 400mm (200mm + 2x)?

shot most of my posts using 80-200mm F2.8 at 200mm with a kenko 2x, so that make it 400mm F5.6. just so happen that i live nearby, i get to patrol the fields very often.

Mando, I totally agree with ma'am tina. With your collection of UP Diliman birds, you should be one of the stars of the Vargas Museum exhibit. With those great shots using only a 200mm, Its not hard to imagine what you could do with a 400mm or a 500mm.

have not been posting lately, too busy trying to recover my raws. anyway, since sir rey started with a pic of a BIA (birdnut-in-action). here are other BIAs sighted at UPD... prof jerry while shooting the black bittern. sir william in a stake out with his 500mm f4L. sir neon with his soon to be replaced 300mm f4L. doc chito with his camo getup and assault mode. sir bong spotting the plaintive cuckoo. sir rey lost in his own world while catching the long tailed shrike. sir ding in his best pose while shooting a colasisi...
