Those are great shots Sylvia. The 300 f2.8 handles a 2x TC very well.

Thanks for the comments! Sylvia Ramos - the gull is also my favorite. It's now my wallpaper. I like how the details of the iris can be seen when enlarged to my screen size of 1920x1080. @enrique - yes they are quite near. If only the birds in Candaba are also that fearless. But then again, it will be detrimental to them if they are.

Beautiful photo Mark. The raindrops add a nice effect on the photo.

Thanks for the comments. @sir Ely: Foot zoom was futile as my daughter was throwing treats at them and these birds keep following us. Hahaha.... mark: I think you can only do this with the ETS in our country. But then again, only on those ETS that live in the city. They don't mind people walking past right them. @mick: Yes, I guess you're right. That was my ID too. I just am not confident enough with ID'ing these gulls yet.

These birds are not afraid of people so instead of me doing a foot zoom, I decided to take their portraits instead. C&C very much welcome. I'm planning to buy a TC for my new lens and I'm considering ordering from Hong Kong as they seem to give better prices for Kenko brands. I remember some topics that mention a contact person and a store in HK where you buy gears but I can't seem to find it.
Any suggested store(s) in HK that you guys deal with?
Thanks!

Bountiful capture Nelson. A would say it is a productive sortie.
The Blue Paradise Flycatcher you labeled looks like a female Black naped Monarch to me though.

Congratulations on the capture Sir Romy and Pogito! Both are beautiful captures. It's not hard to imagine that Pogito will continue the Oconific legacy.

Thank you very much Sir Romy! I knew I did the cropping right, the Romy Ocon way. I have to agree with you on the sharpening. I tend to be overzealous in bringing out the details albeit, in a more un-natural way. I will have to learn to control my sharpening. Again, thank you Sir Romy for the critique.
