thanks Renoir! yes, this one was taken with the Nikkor 200-400 f4 VR2 that just arrived on our shores last week. Not mine tho.. just for testing. Will try to post a decent review once I get to know it better.

I would call this a self portrait sir. I can almost see you in the reflection on the Pipit's eye!

probably because of the drastic change in color between the back and the head, plus that distinct marking on the back of the neck makes it look like a turtle? With this BIF as a test shot.. I can't wait for the static birds! Incredible as always mastah! Question: How would you define these "sweet spots" sir?

alright, when we went to Mindoro, Toto already had his 550D as backup to his 50D. Gabs and I are Nikon shooters... that leaves mark and bert Bert uses a sigma so he is looking for a Sigma body. MARK!!!!!!! I have a question for you
