No, no. I'll leave the swamp and leeches to JP. Might get into patent infringement. I have the camo tarp and still thinking what to do with it. My most recent idea is to build small outhouse-type contraption. Watch out! PS. Naku, si Ding, I'm sure he is designing a floater he can use in his water reservoirs that is why he is so aliw with JP's stunts and gadgets. Was that the reason why you took us to lunch in that Bae restaurant -- the floating huts can be good hides, he, he. Good night. God rest ye merry gentlemen. just saw this lunchtime in park square tenthaus (ata yung name)... they're selling this collapsible type na hut which really folds into a very small box-like container mga 3 feet long by 9 in x 9 in lang. buy camou material na pwede i-velcro on the frame and whala.... you have a blind!

After reading through Romy's post on the Bigma getting OS, thought of browsing through DPReview news.... Whoa!!! Now we're talking!!!! The world’s first ultra telephoto zoom lens that offers a fast aperture of F2.8 at the 500mm focal length. The dedicated “Attachment” ensures autofocusing at the 1000mm focal length. SLD and three ELD glass elements provide high image quality from the maximum large aperture Supplied with ø72mm filter holder at the rear the ultimate question... how much and how good is the IQ?

HehEHehEHEhEHe Nilo at least you were able to get those full frame shots of the Chinese Egret - imagine staying there for more than five hours and ending up with nothing ;D ;D ;D No worries, won't even attempt anymore Until JP invents a blind that's made out of beathable fabric that's big enough to hide at least 2 people, 2 comfortable chairs and a table for all our gears ;D ;D ;D posted this on the other thread...... it applies here as well... hehehe..... just saw this lunchtime in park square tenthaus (ata yung name)... they're selling this collapsible type na hut which really folds into a very small box-like container mga 3 feet long by 9 in x 9 in lang. buy camou material na pwede i-velcro on the frame and whala.... you have a blind! i believe that solves your problem tins! ;D tara jp.... gawin na natin tong next DIY project!

would love to go and shoot the birds in that area. haven't gone there yet. same here, weekend birder lang kasi ako bec of work. for the photo contest, that would be really interesting. they'd somehow get media mileage what with the recent "shooter" fanfare. i'm all for it.

check it out... www.dpreview.com/news/0712/07123101batteryrestrictions.asp"The US Department of Transportation has announced new safety rules relating to the storage of rechargeable Lithium batteries when flying to, from and within the USA. The new restrictions, effective from January 1st 2008, dictate that loose Lithium cells may not be packed in checked baggage under any circumstances - batteries installed in equipment are unaffected. Carry-on baggage may contain up to two loose batteries but only if there is no possibility of short-circuit, containing them individually within simple plastic bags or their original packaging is sufficient to prevent this and will satisfy inspectors."

was reading an essay on the nikon d3 @ luminous landscape and i really like the parting words of the author.... it somehow summed up what i had wanted to say above...
and i quote "After all a passion for the things we photograph is far more important than the thing we use to photograph. "
