Great take on the wagtail partner. The picnic area looks like a perfect place to stake them. And remember, the OBS in that area come complete. A male, a female and a juvenile.
See you again soon!

Thanks Ely! They allowed me to get in the Botanical Garden yesterday. I was just such a sissy to go around the Botanical Garden by myself. So I just made one pass along the road, listened to birds and went back out.
These ones I captured this morning at the road just outside the airport. There were serveral KFs and probably a dozen of the wood swallows.
I also saw a Little Egret at the canal but it flew out of my lens' reach once I got off my car.
There are a lot of potential sites, but I guess it would be best to bird with a group rather than by one's self.

I sneaked out of the congress for a reconnaissance sortie in subic. I saw a pair of this beauty and was so excited to take some shots. It was backlit with a harsh 3pm sunlight and clear clouds. (I don't know what it is called...) Will go back tomorrow morning for a better picture. I hope it comes back. We saw the BRT again this morning. As Edu and Ely noted, it was getting fat and accustomed to being photographed. Here it is in a full quarter turn. ;D ;D ;D D80, f10, 1/60s, iso500, aperture priority, manual focus, tripod, benro ballhead, cropped

Thanks Edu and Alain! Edu, promise yan na there will be many more ha.
Ely, thanks! I am not sure which I am enjoying more... seeing the birds or taking pictures of them. This is the first time I saw a woodpecker and it was such a thrill. I didn't know if I would call Edu first or set up my tripod when I saw them pecking away at the poor tree!
I must go back!

I sneaked a sortie in between daddy duties this morning. Edu and I met at UPD. Was thrilled with these two species. Lifers both! D80, 500mm, f10, 1/160s, iso500, cropped D80, 500mm, f 10, 1/160s, iso500, cropped Both shot at aperture priority and was quite surprised that when i checked the settings, the shutter speeds were the same.
