No cropping. Yep, full frame. The iridescent colored fur around the neck turns deep blue when this male makes a shrill call. Work is less stressful because my office is just right beside my little safari and the 40d 300mm f4 is just on top of the scanner beside my work pc. God is so good. telyds Exposure: 0.067 sec (1/15), Aperture: f/11.0 ISO 200 Exposure: 0.067 sec (1/15) Aperture: f/13.0 ISO 200

The secret to having God's favorite creatures in your garden is to naturally feed them by planting the right plants. The OSB frequents my butterfly garden because it feeds on nectar from the passiflora blooms. Yes Gab, you can live in my garden anytime on a nectar diet. From an old file.

Now, I'd say that's a perfect neighbor: Intrusive, noisy, and flamboyant!
Beautiful!

That is good news. I remember you trimmed your plant and they all disappeared. Now you have something to look forward to everyday. Very nice pictures. Well done Lyd. Mabuhay.

Thank you Toto, Gab, Ding (yes, very much welcomed intrusions-the OBS bird call is our alarm clock at exactly 5:45 in every morning), Bobby (whoa, don't put me on cloud 9, i have fear of heights), Ely (the more you cut, the more they bloom), and Edu- you can drop by anytime in the morning between 8-12 the time they come. Text me 0920-9181827, check if there are passiflora blooms. The OBS lingers around the whole morning when there are blooms. cheerps telyds

Thank you Idol Tina... just want to follow your footsteps. I know you started with a 300mm. But I can only follow until that lens distance , the hula-hula steps I can do. Pero super galing ka and super tiyaga. Those are vittues hard to follow. Thank you, Sylvia. Wow, soaring ako like an eagle, when I saw the bird photo of the week. When I was scrolling the thread, I looked at it and said... oh, why is it on the side? I looked again... is that Neon's (a-he-he) , it looks like mine (a-hi--hi). And then, I figured out already why Ka Mastah did not comment on my thread. He wanted to surprise me, I think, and he really did! Happy, telyds
