Thanks a lot Ding. The one I got is for the 40D. But call first, I may have bought the last one. How about for 40D? I'm thinking of a backup cable release in not-so-favorable shooting environment. Nilo

Got me a 3rd-party wired shutter release cable for the Canon40D from Aperture Trading. Cost=P800. The Nikon model is only P600. It works fine. Plastic casing looks a bit cheap and may not last rough handling but, at that price, I'll just have to handle it with care. How about for 40D? I'm thinking of a backup cable release in not-so-favorable shooting environment. Nilo

I just got sms from Sir Bobby K. the gimbal heads are already in Cebu!! I can't wait to test it, calibrate as Romy mentioned in the past posting... I'm hoping for clear weather this Saturday.... Of course, many thanks to Romy for the favor and all the postings that started the mad scramble for the gimbal head!! ;D Nilo Nestor beat Arnold to the door..... ....9 units left, Nestor got 1 and I got 3 (for me, Bobby K. and Nilo A.). So that leaves 5 units left for others.

Thanks Ding. This should be good for "risky/wet areas" for the original canon cable.

I felt so lucky that a flock of these doves stay a few hours every morning from Nov to Feb for the past three years in a tree just beyond my backyard. But now, December's nearly over and I haven't seen them yet. I hope they're OK and have just found a more interesting place to stay. Maybe the reason for the morning visits is no longer there? Fruiting tree? Or maybe you should be looking for possible predator, falcon maybe
