I was out for my yearly obligation as part of the Tubbataha Management Office Seabirds monitoring team. This year was phenomenal aside from the scorching heat we also counted 42K breeding seabirds, eggs and chicks. Thanks Ka Romy. We're not lucky with our bird target but we didn't waste time to take some time to shot even the most common bird in the site.

The easiest birding place in the country maybe this place the Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park. While shoot you can drink coffee or beer. Take a walk along the trail see some threatened endemic species if your lucky. We are trying our luck ith the Negros Bleeding Heart but only a glimpse of this elusive species. But at least the group seen it on a flyby. Nevertheless you can shot other species like this beautiful sunbird found only in the West Visayas region. We have a exploratory visit to Tawi-Tawi last September for a conservation work. Syempe birding is the first agenda of the trip.
