Thanks Mark!
No stopping me from shooting now. I was looking for the mirror lock up of the D80. Found out it has none. Mirror can only be locked up for cleaning. Instead, it has an Exposure Delay feature. It delays the shutter by .4 seconds after the mirror is activated.
It's probably not as good as a real Mirror Lock Up but I guess it would help lessen mirror slap a bit.
I'm really learning a lot from this forum.
The work week is almost over... time to bird!!!
Cheers!

My D80 has been with me since May, 2008. I asked about how long coz you might want to have the sensor cleaned. I noticed the first time I had my sensor cleaned (swab + solution), the image quality improved so much that it was like when the cam was brand new. So i thought all those times, a thin film of microdust have settled in sensor and turned into some kind of thin filter. From then on, I usually clean my sensor once every semester. You might want to have it cleaned if you have not done this in the past.

Thanks Toto! I just saw your reply today. I noticed some dust showing in the pictures I took in Candaba last Sunday. Didn't notice it before because I don't usually take pictures of the sky.
I brought it to Columbia in Cubao last Tuesday and whoa, I couldn't believe how much dust my sensor has accumulated all this time! Black specs all over they sensor! I got the unit back today, clean and good as new!
Now I want to test it!!!
