Hi everyone! I'm leaving for the Philippines on May 29. My sister said it rains almost every afternoon. Is birding still good?
I'm planning to take the 500 and wanted to make sure if it was still worth it. Thanks to Romy's email, I plan to visit Candaba, UPLB / Mt. Makiling and if time will allow perhaps Subic. I will also be going to UP Diliman and La Mesa Eco Park (worth it ba ito?)
On the return, we have eight hours in Singapore and we plan to do an island tour of Singapore but I also saw there was a bird sanctuary / park so I might just opt for that. Has anyone gone there?
Maraming salamat, Voltaire

Hi Voltaire! Your sister is right! For the past two days or so, the rains have been coming during the afternoon. However, its bright and sunny during the morning....so I suggest you take on a a morning sortie!

Hi Voltaire,
Rains have come earlier than expected, Candaba is difficult to access now even with a 4x4. I think you'll have better chances at Subic.

Salamat, Romy. I might try it in February if I can swing by Manila from Hong Kong.
