Just started having fun with this highly regarded UWA zoom and I'm amazed on its sharpness across the frame. Here's a hand-held snapshot taken this afternoon.
Shooting info - Bued River, Camp I, Rosario, La Union, Philippines, February 18, 2015, Canon 5D MIII + EF 16-35 f/4 L IS, 19 mm, f/11, ISO 100, 1/80 sec, hand held, manual exposure in available late afternoon light, near full frame resized to 1800 x 1200 pixels.
The 50 cu.m. per hour wet-mix concrete batch plant of TEN-FOUR READYMIX CONCRETE, INC. at Camp I, Rosario, La Union has a fully computerized weighing/batching system, one of the more modern concrete plants north of Metro Manila. Silo storage capacity is a total of 9,000 bags (360 MT) of cement, fly ash or any cementitious material in powder form.

SELFIE WITH AN UWA. My cluttered desk becomes my studio for an experimental selfie session to check how this zoom renders the out-of-focus busy background. I laid down the camera on the desk with the wide open 16-35 f4 IS, focused on the model payloader via live view (near MFD), then tripped the shutter using the self-timer.
Shooting info - Rosario, La Union, Philippines, May 28, 2015, Canon 5D MIII + EF 16-35 f/4 L IS, 16 mm, f/4, ISO 160, 1/10 sec, manual exposure in available light, live view AF, self-timer, AWB, uncropped full frame resized to 1500 x 1000 pixels.

RAINBOW OVER BUED RIVER. A spectacular rainbow appeared at sunset yesterday over the Bued River at Rosario, near the concrete batch plant of Ten-Four Readymix. The plant was pouring concrete at TPLEX Phase II when the amazing visual display happened, and I was fortunate to have a camera handy during this rare moment.

SWOLLEN BUED RIVER. Even after two sunny days following over two weeks of continuous rains, the Bued River continues to flow in large volume, trying to empty into the South China Sea the muddy rainwater that accumulated in the Cordilleras far in the background. Photo was taken at about 6:10 PM earlier today.

Looks like you've been keeping busy on the "wider end" of photography, Ka Mastah! Amazing sharpness at the edges. That lightning shot is top notch!
