Hello guys. I would just like to ask if you do regular meet-ups to go birding (e.g. monthly, every season, etc). I'm planning to return to the Philippines this June and I'm thinking it would be great if I could join you guys on such activities and meet you in person. As for bird photography knowledge, I don't really have much to offer since I just started on this one, but it would be a great learning experience to join a real birding trip. Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to joining your activities.

Hi Mark, We don't have regular bird shoots, mainly because of the following: 1. Most of us are busy with our businesses/day jobs that it's tough to synch schedules. 2. Bird photography is one genre that's not conducive to group activity. The best results are often obtained via solo or duo sorties, as the shooter(s) can get closer to the subject with less potential for alarming the bird. PBPF interaction is often our main way of getting in touch. We do get together physically once in a blue moon to exchange birding tales and help the shares of San Miguel Corp. move up a bit in the stock market. ;D When you return, just post your schedule here and some of us can probably join you in some sorties.
