Not been shooting lately due to busy work schedule and I sold my camera body until the new one came. Just this Friday rain signals the end of Harmattan season (dusty weather) here in Nigeria. A good time for backyard birding on a weekend. Those are fantastic shots of the Common Kestrel. I think they call them Eurasian Kestrel here in the Philippines. Well done Lawrence & Mabuhay.

Superb clear BIF shots, Lawrence! How close did it fly by you? The 1st photo about 10 meters, 2nd and 3rd about 15-20 meters as I climbed the ladder to avoid blown out sky. The last one was a lucky shot as I burst the shutter following the flight and captured the bird as it passes the trees ;D Glad you like it |
