Dear fellow birdnuts, To those interested to try capturing a spaceship with their birding gear, the ISS will make an overhead pass over Manila early this evening. If the skies are cloud-free, this is among the best opportunities to catch the space bird over Manila in a long time. Pass Details courtesy of www.heavens-above.com: Some ISS capture tips:1. It's important to synch your timepiece with the standard time, otherwise you might miss the pass. A good website to sync time is www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=145. 2. Use the longest lens you have, plus all the TCs you can stack. 3. Manually pre-focus on the moon or any heavenly body. 4. Shoot in bursts, with IS on if equipped. 5. Don't hesitate to use high ISOs for faster shutter speeds, it's easy to filter the noise later during PP. Here's a sample capture at ISO 3200 way back in April 2011. Happy space birding!!! ;D ;D

Wow, another valuable lesson learned, Ka Mastah! Thanks a lot for the tips, I'll use this for the next pass as I arrived late from a sortie in the Sierra Madre :-)
