I'm bound for Hong Kong this morning, our flight was supposed to depart at 1130 a.m. but due to typhoon signal no. 10 in Hong Kong all flights were cancelled. It brought chaos in Cathay Pacific Airways network operation. Now our flight has an estimated time of departure at 1130 p.m. I rang Tateo Osawa and Nilo Arribas for lunch and coffee and we parted ways around 3pm. Then Mares and I have to make use of our time and keep ourselves busy until our final departure tonight. I found this photo in my uncalibrated laptop computer and I decided to process it. Did some global processing and watermark on the said image of Ruddy Kingfisher that was captured by my camera at Iwahig , Penal Colony in Palawan on 2011. 125 sec , F7.1 , ISO 640 , Center- weighted metering mode Tripod support , flash fired on better beamer. 1DmkIV , EF 500mm 4L IS + 1.4xTC

Thanks Toto , Tina , Sylvia and Mark. It's 4 a.m. now and we just landed in Hong Kong. But there is no available parking bay due to traffics congestion of the runway. As announced we have to wait for an hour and airport low on man power. After this ordeal we have face another one, which is the shortage of taxi going to our place. I heard a lot of people on que for transportation. Since mid-night there were no bus service untill 6 a.m. Another thing the aircraft door can't be open from outside due to strong gusty wind from the typhoon. Ha ha ha ha. I guest I am staying in hongkong and canceling my suppose trip to chicago today. Time to bird and have a great smile. He he he. The only consolation is I'm inside this bird ( airbus aircraft )

Nice one, DocBoy! I probably would have done the same given the same circumstances.
Praying that you will be on your journey safely.

Nice one, DocBoy! I probably would have done the same given the same circumstances. Praying that you will be on your journey safely. Bob , Lunch and coffee with fellow Cebu birdnuts is priceless. Been a while since our bonding. It's a big help in surviving the long ordeal of waiting. Luckily , I have few bird folders in my internal drive which I normally don't, because I use a MacBook Air that has a small built-in memory. I always use external drive to store my latest harvest. We just retrieve our baggage after 14 hours .....
