Wow.... I can still remember when I got my first 512 MB Ridata card 4 years ago for over PHP 6K! Now, CDR King lists a Ridata 8 GB 120x CF card for PHP 2,680. Anybody tried this yet? From CDR King's site, it looks legit enough - 6 months warranty, with 1 week replacement period. A couple of these will be enough storage for a loooong sortie. i'll check this out tomorrow romy when i go to greenhills Try to bring your camera if you can, with a fast branded CF. If they allow you to test the card, shoot a burst of NEFs until the buffer is full, then compare the write times of both cards. If it works, I'd probably buy a couple for BIFs, to minimize card changes when the shooting is frenetic.

The very basic thing you have to ask yourself is....
IF i buy a large capacity CF card, would I be willing to lose that much data if the CF card malfunctions or would I rather stick to a 2 gb CF card and buy a lot of it so that if it fails, I only lose 2 gb worth of files.
I've heard so many horror stories regarding Ridata - check out different photography forums and you can read them for yourself.
I have 1gb and 2 gb ridata cards and they have never failed me. Got them when I was just starting photography. I hardly ever use them now but I still bring them every single time as my last resort CF cards ;D
