Hi TJ, This is where I have been buying most of my photography accesories. They are very reliable and I feel really safe buying from them Romy has the Camo Blind. If you look at his pbase site, you will see a picture of him in tambo - I hope I never get to be that kind of a birdnut. The garbage there stinks like hell - HEHEHEHHHEhEheEheEHeEHe

I actually have the Mossy Oak tarp and was planning to blanket myself with it in Boso-boso but it's sooooo hot. So my little project now (if I ever get to it) is to construct some struts to form a blind with it with sufficient ventilation. It'll be like a little room with windows. Hopefully, there be enough space for a tripod, chair, coffee thermos, and some snacks.

Yup, I remember that pic of Romy.
There's a Kwik Camo Blind made of lightweight breathable material that allows better cooling and ventilation. I don't know how good it works though, but they say is ideal for warmer climates.
Ding, if you find have an a-frame tent, you might be able to use it as the support. I remember having an old a-frame and the tent itself and the flysheet are all torn up. I'll try to dig it up. If I do find it, I'll let you know.

Thanks, Tina. I was at Rox last weekend but just a quickie. Was attending dinner at Serendra and drove real fast so wife and I arrived too early and what to do? Hmmm... Saw some tents propped up but, silly me, never thought the struts were sold separately from the tent. Ding : They sell those A-frame thingies for tents at ROX. Tina, this was a cheapo poncho-type raincoat I bought at a Fort Bonifacio army store, with some holes slashed into it to improve breathability. It was still too hot, so I don't use it much. The camou thing that I find effective in getting close to shy birds goes by the brand name "Lenscoat," works very well, without me being forced to sweat it out inside. I only sweat when carrying its "big tubular frame".... ;D ;D Romy Hi TJ, Romy has the Camo Blind.
