Great shots of one of my favorite birds, Gabriel. What is on the "dinner plate" in front of him?

thanks steve, doc william, ramon and neon. the BRT is becoming friendlier by the day. it was posing for close to 2 hours this afternoon.
the reddish blob on the leaf is either a regurgitated fruit or poop (?).

Outstanding photographs of the BRT. I especially like the two tone color of the eyes and this can only be achieved if you get the correct exposure and right angle of light into the eyes. Well done Gabs & Mabuhay.

thanks telyds! i saw it between 2 and 4 pm yesterday... i think it likes posing during sundays when there are few people in the area.
ely, thanks! i notice the two-toned eyes in your pics a lot! I would aim for that always...

These are wonderful captures Gabs. I don't think I have a BRT photo that's as nicely taken as this one. All my shots were taken at quite a distance.
Sometimes I wish we lived nearer UPD because of the birds that you find there.
Maybe someone up there is telling me to go to UPLB more often - HEhEHhEHhHEhe
