I took videos of the Philippine Pygmy Woodpecker in our backyard months ago. I have no video editing tool other than than Windows Movie Maker. I tried to edit the videos using this software but the 16:9 aspect ratio was distorted.
Then Nikon released a free software called View NX2. It has a movie editor that retains the 16:9 aspect ratio. This is just my simple attempt with bird videography and video editing.

Are they making a nest? Nice video Mark. Keep it up. thank you, kuya ely! glad you liked it. we were thinking then that they were making a nest but then after several days of hard work, these woodpeckers just left it. i don't know why. i stopped taking pictures and videos for the reasons that i was already content with my shots and i got anxious that i'm might be getting too close and disturb them. but then after a few days, observing from a distance, the birds didn't come back.
