this raptor was spotted outside of the enclosures earlier during the PiPhol's Zoofest 2008 by Rey and the zoo director.... the zoo director was saying they've spotted it several times before roaming wild and free but always perches/goes back to the zoo... (perhaps to visit his brethren??? hehe) is this a white-bellied sea eagle? nikon d200 + reflex-nikkor 500/f8 handheld, iso 800, manual exposure, f8, 1/500s

Manny, The response to the original question is yes, look at the bill strength (a bill this strong would be something from either genus Aquila (which we do not have in Phils), or from Haliaeetus (and we only have one in Phils).
