Hi folks, To make my life simpler, I've made sRGB my default color space for my web images and prints even when I became aware there's a choice of color spaces. Sure, aRGB has a wider gamut, but much of my print work involves an outsourced printer, whose machine/paper/ink profiles I've no control of. The only time I convert RAW files to aRGB is when the user of the photo (ad agencies and the like) specifically requires that color space. The correct space for web posting is of course sRGB. Here's a link to a must-read short article that describes in easy to understand terms which color space is right for you. I stumbled upon the link while browsing at DPR. www.jseaman.com/articles/srgb.html

Currently, I shoot RAW using the Adobe RGB color space. I've been thinking of going back to sRGB, since the images I converted to JPG looks different from the TIFF (I convert the Nikon NEF format to TIFF 16-bit using CaptureNX).
I guess I have to do this now than later, as according to the link posted by the master, converting to a different color space is not a good thing.
Thanks for the link Romy.
