One of the prime targets in Olango is the rare and critically endangered Chinese Egret. There were 34 individuals counted last month, quite numerous that a close encounter is always a good possibility. It was very exciting to see them up close within full frame distances. Chinese Egret (Egretta eulophotes) Olango Bird Sanctuary, March 16, 2011 50D + EF500 + 1.4XTC, f7.1, 1/2000 -2500, Manual Exposure, Handheld

Thanks a lot Mark and Edu. @ Edu Good luck on your trip. It was a bit rainy when I was there, April will surely be a lot better. By the way, here's sharing another capture in Portrait Mode.
