There are tons of excellent shots of this previously rarely photographed endemic bird posted recently, and it was tough to select which version is our FBPOTW.
This rendition was chosen in the end because of the very photogenic perch that curls around the subject, strengthening the composition. The pose is likewise very nice, presenting a classic profile of the bird, with fieldmarks very visible. Great detail, lovely colors, superb exposure and a pleasant background help push this capture into the realm of frameables.

I agree, so rightfully earned. That perch added a great deal of depth to the photo and makes it almost 3D.
