Hello Canon 40D users. Do you use the custom settings (C1, C2, C3) of your 40D for bird photography? What are your settings? Thanks

In addition, what are your general settings, like Picture Style, AF Point, AF mode, metering, White balance, etc. ? ;D

I use C1, C2, and C3. Before going to a site, I usually set them based on the shooting cconditions. For example, when going on a stakeout where there's dark canopy and using a tripod, my C1 would be on low ISO, mirror lockup, and low shutter speed. My C2 would be on high ISO and almost-handholdable shutter speed. C3 would be regular shooting just in case I would want to shoot a well lit bird from the sun peeking through the canopy.
I always go for spot metering and everything manual. I also shoot RAW so the other settings don't mean much to me.
My 0.2 worth.

He-he. I was thinking about cracking exactly the same joke as I was typing that message but held back.
Shows you great insane minds think alike.
