Too tired, will do the rest sometime. Just barely able to finish PPing the first photos from our (Aphine, Tina&Wency and Ixi) sortie to Quezon National Park. At first I thought this was a pygmy flowerpecker but it's not, after comparing it with photos of a pygmy it's different. 40D + 300 mm f4 IS + 1.4x Kenko TC (420mm), f 5.6, 1/60, ISO 640, Manual Exposure, Hand held, "Ninja" Staking techniques ;D

Nice shot, Neon! I tend to agree with Tina, but you know how tough it is to ID these birds, let's wait for Steve's verdict.

Thanks! Plain Tina and Master Romy Yes, it looks like a Buzzing alright, event the fruiting tree is the same..he he he This is another lifer!!! Wooohaaa!!! The aches and pains of going to the QNP has been cured by this capture!! I thought it would be the worst birding day I've encountered so far, in terms of number of Kilometers walked without a single shot made. I won't bore you with a long story, I'll tell it when we meet in some sortie. Now back to PPing the rest of the photos.

Neon, Yes, I tend to agree with hypoleucum obscurum - a non-adult from the color of the bill and from the flesh color of the tibiotarsi and feet.
