Lawrence, You shouldn't take me so literally! Yes, it is an Old World Sparrow, however there a quite a few Old World Sparrows. This particular one, this particular species, is called Northern Grey-headed Sparrow (Passer g. griseus).

Whatever camera and lens you are using you sure got a lot of excellent pictures and to be within 6 meters of Sunbirds sound like so much fun. Well done Lawrence. Mabuhay (Long Life).

Hi Ely, 3 months ago I bought my self a 70-300mm VR since then I keep on shooting birds of my surroundings, I know its very limited reach but I shoot anyway. One day I saw a group of sunbirds chasing and playing, I started getting close slowly a foot at a time, the shot opportunity was only one to three seconds then they fly again. Yah it was fun after that I try to catch some other specie. There are a lot more here but some are just head shots not so good quality maybe I get lucky next time. thanks for viewing sir
