Hello guys.. This monday morning was the only time the I had a break from my (too) busy schedule. And Sir Bert called me up for a possible fullframer of a serpent eagle. This is just too good to be true and too good to pass up. ;D So I grabbed my gear and blitz to the location in campus. I joined Prof Jerry, Sir Bert, Sir Alain, Sir Jules and Sir Juno. We had anxious moments of chasing and huffing trying not to loss sight of it, as it flew away more than once. Just as when we almost gave up looking for it. It decided to show itself, perched in a open branch. And then stayed there until I filled up 8GB worth of shots. I even had time to delete some to open up space in my CF. Here are some hurriedly processed shots. Philippne Serpent Eagle Spilornis holospilus (immature) 30D + 400 f5.6 + 1.4x TC, tripod, remote. Thanks for looking.

Doc, you just made a lot of birdnuts, including myself, cry! These are over the top shots! I was there yesterday afternoon (around 1;30 pm) but the Eagle did not return.
