Great catch (both you and the stork-billed KF) ;D Excellent exposure considering part of the subject is in shadow and part in sunlight.

I missed this thread, I was in Coron on September 11 looking for this bird but no such luck. Could you bring me to this place if and when I go to Singapore? Its always nice to have a picture of a Kingfisher with a fish on its beak. Well done Edwin. Mabuhay.

This SBKF is a resident at Japanese Garden, i saw a CKF also , the same area.
