Looks like Alain, Ely, Rey, Nilo and Boy had a fruitful expedition to Bislig. Big congrats to Ely T. for bagging the best photo of this endemic species I've seen so far!

I have seen this bird in Coron but did not have a good capture of it. I understand that the Palawan species is also different from this one so I can consider this a lifer for me. What an exciting turn of events.

Congratulations, Ely! You made it again! Thank you Ariel. I guess I was lucky to get this lifer and endemic bird in Bislig. Is spite of the uncontrolled cutting of lumbers it is surprising to see that there are still a lot of birds. They told me that there were more birds before than now so I can imagine how wonderful it is to go birding in that area than.

Congratulations, Ely!
The one in Coron is the Yellow-throated Leafbird, so yes, you got a lifer with the Philippine leafbird. Way to go!
