This capture is proof that even common birds can be a good raw material for an outstandingly beautiful avian image. Great colors, lovely environment, top shelf detail and nice eye contact..... this deserves to be printed large and framed Mark, congrats!

Congratulation Mark. I am sure that you are very happy about it and so am I. This place deserves the recognition that this birds are building a colony and I hope that it will last a long long time. Your picture is the living proof of how a good looking immature heron will become the beautiful Black-crowned Night Heron.
